Samsung sponsorship Kinect Sports add-on

Games sponsorship is becoming the most popular form of in-game advertising for consoles, and this latest add-on pack for Kinect Sports is being funded by Samsung. With the wider reach of the Microsoft Kinect it makes sense for family brands to be experimenting with this channel.

If only Nintendo had been as focussed on online content for the Wii, I’m sure we’d have seen this kind of format much sooner.

Now, if a large brand would like to sponsor the new “First Strike” Map pack for Call of Duty:Black Ops, I won;t have to fork out £10!
